All hand dug - I must say well done, but I bet you've got some dirty finger nails.

I find it's quicker if you use a spade!!!

i only hand dig every three eyars  . the plot in the back is the one i just aquired so i wont be digging it this year as it was dug last year next time i do the others i will do that

Looks lovely but rather too much hard work involved for my liking.  What is this obsession with the need to dig?  that's what earthworms were invented for!

the worms dont do a good enough job incorporating the compost etc .besides the resulting vegetables are the reward  :wink:
